Cancellation of Order
As our products are manufactured and assembled to order, we do not offer a cancellation service once the order has been processed. Before placing orders, please ensure all the details are accurate. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about any details.
Refunds and returns
No refunds given for incorrectly specified products. Please double check your selection details before submitting your order. Any damaged products must be reported before signing for delivery.
Due to the difficulty on determining how the damage occurred in a construction site / renovation environment, please check each product individually on arrival. Please check for any damage or defects before signing for delivery. If any defect is found please take photos and contact us immediately before signing the delivery docket.
Exceptions, Exclusions, Limitations and Remedies
The following circumstances or events are either deemed to be outside the scope of the general warranty policy as set out above, or will invalidate any warranty claim:
1: Failure to operate or maintain the product in accordance with normal operation of product.
2: Damage caused by continued use of the product after a fault has occurred.
3: Any alterations or modifications, including but not limited to those affecting the products performance. Operation, safety, durability or changes in its intended use.
4: Accident, Act of GOD, nature of war, theft, abuse, misuse, negligence or neglect, including, if applicable, improper installation.
5: Damage caused in transit. Montage will assist in remedying damage but can only do so if the damage has first been reported to the carrier. Important Note: Carrier Consignment Note must be endorsed with the description of damage or loss. Advise to carrier must be made within 24 hours of receipt, otherwise no claim can be lodged.
6: When goods are acquired for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 shall not apply.
7: The warranty applies only to the goods supplied and does not cover any subsequent damage occurred.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, is legislation that outlines the guarantees and rights of both the seller and consumer for products and services sold.
- Under the CGA, products sold by us must be safe, of acceptable quality, fit for the purpose they have been purchased for, match the description given, match the sample or demonstration model and be of acceptable condition when received by you;
- The CGA guarantees are in addition to any other warranty offer(s) provided by the manufacturer, or insurance provider (if applicable); and
- The CGA does not apply where the product has been misused, broken or improperly operated.
